Day 1 on Wegovy Journey
I’ve been looking forward to this day for what feels like forever—my first day on my Wegovy Journey. Before starting, I researched extensively, reading everything I could and watching numerous videos. Some featured doctors, others were news segments, and many shared real user experiences. I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. While I came across stories about harsh side effects and negative experiences, I also found plenty of positive ones. What would my journey look like?
Wegovy Single Use Pen
My doctor prescribed the single-use pen, which I preferred. Its design meant I didn’t have to worry about dialing the wrong dose, changing needles, or priming it. After watching an official Wegovy instructional video, I found the process surprisingly easy and almost stress-free. The needle was small, and I barely felt it when it entered my stomach area. When it clicked to indicate it was in place, I watched the plunger move down until it showed ‘complete.’ To make sure the process was finished, I counted to ten—and that was it. The entire experience took less than 30 seconds, and I hardly felt a thing.
How I Felt Later in the Day
At first, I barely noticed any effects during the initial hours. However, a mild sense of nausea gradually set in, acting more like a gentle reminder to pay attention. I managed to eat a normal meal, but I couldn’t finish it. That’s when the nausea hit me hard; it shifted from a background discomfort to a powerful sensation. I soon lay down, hoping to ease that unpleasant feeling.
Final Thoughts for Day 1 of my Wegovy Journey
Overall, my experience was positive. I anticipated some nausea, so it didn’t catch me off guard. However, I was surprised by how full I felt so quickly. I had assumed it would take a few days for that sensation to kick in. The injector worked flawlessly, and I was truly impressed. I felt nervous about self-injecting, but now I know I can confidently administer it once a week. Since it’s only been a day, I don’t have much more to share yet. I’m excited to continue my Wegovy journey!
